“Oh La De” was a silly song my sister and I made up years ago, inspired by the Beatles’ “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da.” Our parents played it a lot when we were kids, and we decided to tweak the lyrics.
Ours went something like, “Oh La De, Oh La Da, Life Goes on, Rawwwrrrr!” For some reason, we’d always roar at the end, much to our parents’ annoyance. It became our little thing, and now it’s the name of our blog—because life goes on, with a little roar of fun! 😊
