Let me first start out saying that I have a boy… a very messy, loves to get wet, doesn’t care about cold, play rough kinda boy. I have gone through over 12 pairs of rain boots in the past 7 years alone and truly could write a comparison essay on all the different rain boots out there. I have searched the malls of America (including the Mall of America) for the very best rain boots for kids, and finally think I found a winner! Bogs Rain boots (and nope they are not paying me to review these boots).
In the Ohlade’s family we have a total of 4 wild kids and ALL have gone through tons and tons of rain boots. From the $5 pair at walgreens to the “OMG I must have these fun monkey boots”, to the “we are getting serious rain boots that cost money and are gonna last years.” (#momregrets)

Well, let me tell you that all of those have either gone in the garbage or to the donation center. Kids outgrow shoes and boots every year so we understand how hard it is to shell out bucks for a pair of kids rain boots.
However, if you are looking for an awesome pair of rain boots that not only will your kid want to wear, but they will ask to wear them and even put them on themselves, these Kids Bogs boots are it. Yes… finally a pair of boots your don’t have to struggle with!
These are as close to the holy grail of winter boots as we have tried so far. The best part about these boots is that they keep your little ones feet dry and cozy… even in blistery rainy, snowy, freezing weather!! Serious!
Boots That Keep Your Kids Feet Warm & Dry
These have survived the winters of New York, a visit to Alaska and many trips to Tahoe in CA. So really, you are getting 2 boots for the price of one with these- Rain and Snow boots. That is why its in our top pick and why we stand behind the Bogs rain boots is the versatility and quality.

The Bogs boots were originally designed for farmers in Oregon and represent this durable design in all their boots. There is no thin, cheap plastic anywhere on these rain boots. The soles are built with excellent tread. Made with grippy non-marking rubber to avoid slips and slides while climbing rocks or splashing in puddles.
The upper part of the boot is made with a soft, flexible, waterproof fabric rather than the hard rubbery plastic most boots are. This allows the kids more freedom to move about as the fabric moves with the kid as they jump and run about. They’re 100% waterproof with subzero Neo-Tech insulation that keeps kids warm and comfortable no matter the conditions. A self-cleaning outsole resists sticky mud and debris as well.

Why We Love This Pick:
We honestly think these are best rain boots (plus) on the market for kids today! Why? Because they are the only ones that have survived our kids! That actually says a ton.
These boots have kept our little ones feet cozy, dry and warm in rainy weather. Even playing double duty (hence the plus!) for multiple seasons from cold rain days to snowy mountain play time. They are built solid with quality material and have lasted years, including hand me downs saving us money for sure. These are not the cheapest boots in town, but for the price they are worth it for us.
Bogs are comfortable, practical, and offer a wide range of styles that should fit the needs of most parents and children. If you are looking for a great rain boot for kids. Bogs are definitely worth trying.

What do you think? Do you own a pair and do you think they are worth it? We would love to hear your thoughts on cool kids rain boots!
