Do you know all the facts associated with Halloween or how Halloween started? Like that it actually has several different names including All Hallows Eve, and Day of the Dead. Also the correct spelling is actually Hallowe’en- I had no idea, perhaps we’ve just gotten lazy over the years!
Halloween celebrations have dated back 2000 years and is the 3rd biggest party day of the year!! No wonder I love it so much. Another funky fact- approximately 99% of pumpkins sold are used for jack o lanterns- that is a heck of a lot of pumpkins… seems like such a waste. I would have thought pumpkin pie would have fit in there somewhere- but I suppose backing a pumpkin and then making a pie is not so popular.
